AI in action: Midjourney and ChatGPT can simplify design.

A real Use Case.

AI assistant meets graphic designer: the creative duo in action!

In today's world, where artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming more and more important, I use AI as a working tool to support and optimize the design process in various areas. It is important for me to emphasize again that I use AI for specific tasks, but not for my art.

Every day I see many posts introducing AI applications, but effective use cases are still rare. Now, however, I would like to give you one.

Customer brief:

  1. Design an invitation for a client event that briefly describes what to expect.

  2. Design a short program for the attendees that briefly describes the event.

The client only provided keywords, and my task was to convert them into appealing texts and develop a suitable design.

We need more Use Cases!

Using Midjourney and ChatGPT (as well as my usual Adobe tools), I created the invitation and program. In this case, the combination of artificial intelligence and proven design tools made the process slightly easier compared to times without the use of AI.

After looking at the use of Midjourney and ChatGPT in design on a real use case, it is clear that artificial intelligence has the potential to support the design process. The combination of AI tools and proven design programs can produce engaging results and, depending on the task, save time and resources in the process.

Although there have been successes, it is important to also look critically at the use of AI and always look for ways to improve and adapt to achieve the best possible results. The continued development of AI applications such as Midjourney and ChatGPT is promising, but there is still a long way to go before they can reach their full potential in design.

Collaboration between creative minds and artificial intelligence is critical to shaping a future where technology and creativity can go hand in hand.
