General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
of kathrinfederer.ch
("hereinafter kathrinfederer.ch")
Art and creativity are the foundation of our project. However, since our services also involve commercial transactions, it is necessary to establish a clear and consistent contractual framework. The following Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between you and us.

These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us. For the sake of readability, masculine pronouns may occasionally be used throughout this document; they always refer to all genders equally.
The purpose of these Terms & Conditions is to establish a fair and binding business relationship between you and kathrinfederer.ch. Every order and every contract is governed exclusively by the Terms & Conditions in force at the time the order is placed. By placing an order or logging into your customer account, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. You may view and print them at any time.
These Terms & Conditions exclusively govern the contractual relationship between kathrinfederer.ch and the customer. Any conflicting or deviating terms proposed by the customer shall not apply unless expressly accepted by kathrinfederer.ch in writing.
Please also note the following: The papers, pigments, chemicals, and other materials used in our products and production processes may naturally vary over time and, in some cases, even between production batches. Changes may occur due to ageing, high temperatures, high humidity (or significant fluctuations in humidity), and exposure to sunlight. To ensure the longevity of your artwork, photographs, mounted prints, and framed pieces should not be exposed to direct sunlight, placed above radiators, or stored in environments with excessive humidity. They are therefore not suitable for outdoor use, basements, bathrooms, or kitchens. Laminations with UV-protective film or acrylic glass, as well as wooden frames, are particularly sensitive to scratches and fingerprints and should always be handled with gloves or similar protective measures.
GENERAL TERMS
1. Who may register and/or place an order?
Registration and ordering are available only to natural persons, legal entities, or partnerships with full legal capacity. Minors are not permitted to register or place orders.
When registering, you are required to provide complete and accurate information, including your full name, current residential address (no P.O. boxes), telephone number (no premium-rate numbers), and a valid email address. We reserve the right, but are under no obligation, to verify the accuracy of the information provided. If you register on behalf of a legal entity, the registration must be completed by an authorised representative whose name must be provided. Should any of your registration details change after creating your account, you are responsible for updating your account information without delay. During registration, you will choose a username (your email address) and a password. Your username must not infringe the rights of third parties, particularly trademark or naming rights, be misleading, or violate applicable laws or accepted standards of conduct. We reserve the right to establish formal requirements or restrictions for usernames and to reject or revoke usernames at our sole discretion.
2. What products and services do we offer?
Upon your request through the ordering system on kathrinfederer.ch, we provide the following products and services:
We create high-quality physical prints from the digital artwork you select. These are professionally produced reproductions of digital artwork on a physical medium, suitable for personal use or resale where permitted. In addition, kathrinfederer.ch offers digital products such as templates, presets, LUTs, overlays, and other digital add-ons. Unless otherwise stated, all digital downloads are provided with a Standard License. Digital products may not be resold, transferred, shared, or redistributed. Because digital products are available for immediate download, refunds cannot be provided unless a technical issue or an error has occurred. We also offer gift cards, online workshops, webinars, photography tours, and other educational services, which may be booked directly through our website or, where applicable, by email. Furthermore, kathrinfederer.ch regularly publishes free livestreams and video tutorials that can be viewed live or on the respective platforms.
3. How does ordering work at kathrinfederer.ch?
The presentation of products in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather a non-binding online catalogue. Products you add to your shopping cart are displayed again in an order summary before checkout. At this stage, you have the opportunity to review, modify, or correct all information entered during the ordering process.
By clicking the "Proceed to Checkout" button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected products. Your order is automatically accepted once it has been successfully received by kathrinfederer.ch. Immediately after placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email containing the details of your purchase and confirming the conclusion of the contract.
We store the details of your order and can provide them upon request after your purchase has been completed. For your own records, we recommend printing or saving both your order confirmation and the Terms & Conditions applicable at the time of purchase.
4. How can I cancel my order?
4.1 Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are individually manufactured according to your personal specifications, such as custom sizes outside our standard range or commissioned artwork, as these products are clearly tailored to your individual requirements. For standard prints available in the sizes and finishes offered in our shop, the statutory right of withdrawal applies.
4.2 Right of Withdrawal
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), take possession of the goods. If multiple products ordered together are delivered in a single shipment, the withdrawal period begins on the day the final product is received.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us:
kathrinfederer.ch
Kathrin Federer
Brühlstrasse 13
CH-8311 Brütten
Switzerland
Phone: +41 79 777 79 75
contact(at)kathrinfederer.ch
by means of a clear statement (for example, by letter or email) informing us of your decision to withdraw from the contract.
You may use the model withdrawal form below, although this is not mandatory. You may also submit your withdrawal electronically via our website: https://en.kathrinfederer.ch/withdrawal
After submission, you will receive confirmation of receipt by email without undue delay. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification before the withdrawal period expires.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard delivery charges (excluding any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than our least expensive standard delivery option), without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after receiving your notice of withdrawal. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise expressly agreed. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have supplied evidence of having returned them, whichever occurs first. You must return the goods without undue delay and, in any event, no later than fourteen (14) days after notifying us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.
You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

4.4 Digital Content
As digital products are made available for immediate download, refunds cannot be provided unless a technical issue or an error has occurred. For contracts involving digital content not supplied on a physical medium (such as presets, LUTs, overlays, downloads, or similar products), your statutory right of withdrawal expires once you have expressly agreed that we may begin fulfilling the contract before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged that, by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal.

Shipping costs depend on the selected product type and print size. The applicable shipping costs are displayed during checkout for each product before you complete your purchase.
7. Pricing
7.1
The prices for the products and services described in Section 2 of these Terms & Conditions are based on our current price list, which is available under Formats & Pricing and displayed during the ordering process. Prices for custom sizes or special requests will be provided during the ordering process or upon request. If you have specific requirements or would like a custom quotation, please contact us.

10. Your Responsibilities as a Customer
10.1
The content published on kathrinfederer.ch, including text, images, artwork, photographs, graphics, and other materials, may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or otherwise used without the prior written permission of the respective copyright holder, unless such use is permitted by law or is technically necessary for accessing the website. This also applies to automated copying through robots, crawlers, search engine technologies, or any other automated methods.
10.2
Any password you choose or that is assigned to you for accessing your customer account must be kept strictly confidential and protected against unauthorized use. You are responsible for all damages resulting from the misuse of your customer account or password where such misuse is attributable to you. 12.2
You may resell the original physical artwork at your discretion.
13. Warranty

The statutory warranty period for products supplied by us is two (2) years from the date of delivery.
Any additional warranty applies only if it is expressly stated in the order confirmation for the respective product.
14. What should I do if I wish to make a complaint?
14.1
Any warranty claim requires that you have fulfilled your statutory obligation to inspect the delivered goods and notify us of any defects. If a defect is discovered during inspection or at a later stage, you must notify us in writing without undue delay. Notification shall be deemed timely if it is sent within two (2) weeks after the defect becomes apparent.
Obvious defects, including incorrect or incomplete deliveries, must also be reported to us in writing within two (2) weeks after delivery. Dispatch of the notification within this period is sufficient to meet the deadline.
Failure to properly inspect the goods or report defects within the required period may result in the exclusion of warranty claims relating to those defects.
14.2
Defects affecting only part of a delivery do not entitle you to reject the entire shipment unless the partial delivery is of no reasonable use to you.
15. Online Workshops and Webinars (All Online Services)
Where possible, workshops and webinars are conducted via Google Meet or Zoom.
Webinars are recorded only for private one-to-one lessons and only upon request.
After the course has been completed, kathrinfederer.ch provides the recording to the customer before permanently deleting its own copy.

Please note that not all workshops are refundable. Please refer to the respective product description for details.
