LUTs (Look-Up Tables) are a powerful tool in Photoshop for manipulating the colors in an image. Here's a simple, quick guide on how to install LUTs in Photoshop:
 
The CUBE files are packaged as a ZIP archive. After the download you have to unpack the ZIP.
 
Start Photoshop and open the picture you want to edit.
From the menu at the top, select "Window" and then "Settings".
From the Settings menu, choose Color Lookup.
In the Properties window that appears, click the drop-down menu next to "3DLUT File" or "Abstract".
Click on "Load LUT" (Load 3D LUT...) at the end of the drop-down list.
Navigate to the LUT file (.CUBE) you are installing resp. apply and click Open.
The LUT will now be applied to your image.
 
To regulate the effect of the LUT you can change the opacity of the color lookup layer or adjust the blending mode in the layers palette. It is also possible to stack multiple LUTs on top of each other to combine different effects. Tip: Alternatively, you can also access the various adjustment layers in the Layers panel at the bottom.
