Installing the .XMP files (presets) is simple. Just download the ZIP archive and save it in an easily accessible location.
Photoshop/Camera Raw Installation Guide:
Quick Installation:
- Download and unzip the ZIP archive.
- Copy the entire folder "Infinite Fade Presets Camera Raw & Lightroom by Kathrin Federer" to the following location:Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings
Windows: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings - Restart Photoshop CC.
- In Photoshop, go to Filter > Camera Raw.
Alternative Installation:
- Do NOT unzip the downloaded ZIP archive.
- Open Adobe Photoshop: Launch Photoshop and open an image you want to apply the preset to.
- Open Camera Raw: Go to Filter > Camera Raw Filter to open the Camera Raw window.
- Open the Presets Panel: On the right side of the Camera Raw window, click the Preset icon (two stacked sliders).
- Import Preset: Click the small three-dot menu at the top right of the Presets panel and select Import Profiles. Navigate to the ZIP folder and click Open.
- Apply Preset: The Presets folder will now appear in the list. Click on a preset to apply it to your image.
Lightroom CC Installation Guide:
- Unzip the downloaded ZIP archive.
- Open Lightroom: Launch Lightroom and select a photo you want to apply the preset to.
- Open the Presets Panel: On the right side, click the Preset icon (two stacked sliders).
- Import Preset: Click the three-dot menu at the top right of the Presets panel and select Import Presets. Navigate to the unzipped folder and select it.
- Apply Preset: The Presets folder will now appear in the list. Click on a preset to apply it to your photo.
You can now apply the presets to your images while maintaining full control over their effects.
