COLOR DISCIPLINE LUTS PACK
Color Discipline is a carefully developed LUT pack featuring 110 professional .CUBE LUTs, focused on color discipline rather than color explosion. This collection was not created to make images louder or more saturated, but to organize, calm, and visually focus them.
The LUTs deliberately reduce the number of competing colors, group similar tones, and shift the visual emphasis toward darker tonal ranges. Through targeted color grading in shadows and midtones, images gain depth, materiality, and cohesion — without artificial looks or aggressive contrast.
Who is Color Discipline for?
This pack reveals its full potential wherever structure, space, and materials define the image:
- Architecture & Urban Photography: Concrete, glass, metal, asphalt, and complex urban color environments benefit especially from controlled color reduction and shadow-driven grading.
- Editorial & Conceptual Portraits : People in space, natural clothing, window light, and calm environments — without beauty looks or exaggerated skin tones.
- Reduced, Atmospheric Landscapes: Best suited for scenes with diffuse light, limited highlights, and a clear, graphic visual language.
What makes Color Discipline special?
This LUT pack stands for:
- Muting instead of desaturation: Colors are not removed, but grouped and reweighted.
- Shadow-driven color grading: Targeted color shifts in darker tonal ranges create depth and visual calm.
- Controlled highlights: No harsh whites, no washed-out areas — the focus is on balance rather than brilliance.
- Cohesive looks: Ideal for series, editorials, and projects that require visual consistency.
LUT Variants & Strength
Color Discipline includes 110 LUTs, organized into curated groups of five variants.
Each group is based on the same core look, but varies in strength:
- Ultra Light
- Light
- Medium
- Strong
- Heavy
These variants are not opacity-based versions. What does "strength" mean in this context?
Strength describes how far the color transformation moves away from a neutral starting point — not how much an effect is “turned up.” Unlike an opacity or intensity slider, stronger variants:
- do not simply apply more of the same effect
- instead shift colors, tonal relationships, and shadow grading more decisively
- particularly in dark tones and midtones
This structure allows for precise selection depending on image content, lighting conditions, and contrast range — without forcing the look through blending modes or opacity adjustments.
