The starting point for this project was a company's request to create custom backgrounds for online meetings. This experience once again highlighted how little attention is often paid to this aspect of brand presence: In Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet, companies appear with generic, outdated, or visually inconsistent backgrounds – even though this digital touchpoint also influences brand perception.

Instead of simply creating a one-off series of backgrounds, I wanted to develop a solution that would allow companies to create new, professional versions themselves at any time. This led to the creation of the AI Meeting Background Generator "BrandBG": an AI-powered web app that analyzes a company's website URL to identify existing branding, colors, typography, and target audience.

Based on this analysis, BrandBG generates four unique meeting backgrounds in 16:9 format – tailored to the visual identity of the respective company and optimized for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet. The backgrounds can be downloaded directly as PNGs and regenerated as needed. This keeps the brand's presence varied without compromising visual consistency.

The concept, product logic, naming, branding, UX/UI design, and art direction are all my own work; the technical implementation was AI-supported. This project demonstrates how a specific design brief can evolve into a scalable digital tool: not just as a solution for a single company, but as a system that enables brands to quickly and professionally improve their presence in digital meetings.
