#AI BLOG

In spring 2022, I have already dealt intensively with the AI generation of images. But I was more than disappointed with the results and couldn't find any fun in it in the long run. In the meantime the tools have become better, I would say partly frighteningly brilliant.

For the creation of my works, the way to the finished picture was always what I enjoyed the most. So visualizing my mental image and creating a perfect image. When I first tried this with AI back then, I realized that while prompting can be addictive, it didn't give me the results I could have created in Photoshop. Also, I just enjoyed composing my images myself more than just typing in text (prompts). So I paused for a while. The ki models are getting better now. I'm still figuring out how to best use it for me. But it is opening up unimaginable possibilities in new genres that I personally like a lot, but am not known for. E.g. abstract, 3D, illustrations for kids, interior design, architecture, still life, macro. I am now trying to figure out how to use AI for my current style while experimenting and training.

AI will get better. It can't yet generate what a human eye sees. Those who know photography, graphic design, art, etc. can still see an AI generated image just fine. The way wonderful creations are made will change. There will be less need for photographers, digital artists, etc. Am I excited? No. Can I change it? No. So, better to deal with it now than later. You should not demonize it, even if you are not enthusiastic. You can't stop the development. Better to find a way to make the best use of it for yourself. AI also has to be learned. It takes a lot of practice to do that. A good prompter who knows photography and Photoshop will certainly be in high demand in the future. For the hobbyist, AI offers many new possibilities.

Also, looking back over the decades, many innovations were created that also caused fear. Therefore, it is better to deal with the topic than to look away.

I would like to clarify that all images showcased in this blog were generated by me using AI technology and are protected by copyright laws. This applies to all other artworks and images I have created as well.
